Personal Belongings
To personalize your living space, you may wish to bring your own quilt, pillows, religious symbols, photos or other small items. You are required to bring sufficient clothing to get dressed each day. As your care needs change, the team may approach you and your family regarding the purchase of specialized items, such as open-back clothing.
We recommend:
- 7 complete outfits (eg. sweat suits, dresses, slacks, blouses, shirts, and socks)
- 3 cardigans/open front sweat tops
- 7 pairs of underwear
- 4 pyjamas or night gowns (7 if incontinent)
- 1 pair proper fitting shoes with good grip (preferably runners – please no high heels)
- 1 pair washable, non-skid slippers (2 if incontinent)
- 1 housecoat
Personal Items:
- Shaver (if necessary)
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Kleenex
- Dentures, Denture cups, and Dental powder/adhesive
- Eye glasses and eye glass case
- Comb/hairbrush
- Nail clippers
- Washable comforter
- Make-up: compact bag, lipstick
- Hearing aid, cleaning equipment & spare batteries
