Your valuables (rings, jewellery, important papers, etc.) and large amounts of cash should be left with family for safekeeping. Families who bring in any new/replacement items are asked to notify staff. Families who remove any valuables/possessions from the facility are asked to notify staff. Our goal is to work together to prevent items from being lost or misplaced.
From time to time valuables such as hearing aides, glasses, or dentures go missing, or are damaged. Residents are encouraged to purchase comprehensive insurance against loss or theft. An annual insurance policy is quite affordable and is available in most cases by contacting an insurance broker.
