Medical Services

A Physician is assigned to you upon admission. You may also choose to retain your own physician from the community provided he/she has admitting privileges at Concordia Place.

The choice of health care provider will be determined when admission is being arranged.

Your Health Care Provider will determine special needs and will prescribe medications and any tests required.

Rounds are usually done once per week. Urgent problems arising between scheduled rounds may be dealt with by telephone or transfer to another site, as appropriate.

Your Health Care Providers are available to speak with, or meet with, you and/or your family members upon request. The unit nurse will assist with this process.
