Spiritual Health

Spiritual Health at Concordia Place is reflective of our core value, compassion and respect. Our Chaplain visits and supports our common residents and their loved ones with the goal of making Concordia Place feel like home. Our Chaplain is respectful of everyone’s beliefs, values, and religious or spiritual background.

We offer the following services:

  • Helping new residents integrate into our Concordia Place community
  • Listening with empathy and understanding
  • Life review, encouragement, prayer and inspirational readings
  • Grief support at times of transition and loss
  • Arranging services, rituals, sacraments and ceremonies respecting one’s beliefs
  • Assisting residents and their loved ones with ethical issues and decision making

The Concordia Place Chapel (Main Floor)

  • Open 24 hours each day for prayer and reflection
  • Interdenominational service, Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m.
  • Roman Catholic Mass, third Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m.
  • Sunday services at 2:00 pm that are led by churches from the community (see Therapeutic Recreation calendar for details)

A sacred space is available weekdays on the ground floor of the hospital
